Motion Reel
I think Motion Design is a complete art. There is a mirror to reflect the world, but a strange engineering to recreate it. Here is a demonstration of web-promotional videos made by me, developed using After Effects and Apple Final Cut. This reel is meant to provide the language itself.
2D Animation
My first attempt to give life to a 2D character. Video produced in two days using After Effects, Final Cut X, Logic Pro and Photoshop. The idea was to give personality to Android, having fun with the Samsung player. Highlight for martial arts scene, a reference to my hobbies and interests.
Promo Motion
Below is a video where I worked as art director, editor and producer of the soundtrack. We used a technique I developed using 2D images to create 3D objects. The whole process of post production was done with After Effects, Apple Final Cut X, Adobe Premiere and Apple Logic Pro.
Footage Work
Another Motion Graphics video, but this time with real footage. Event organized by Kinder +Sports during the brazilian summer. Took me five days to make this video, I had a lot of material to work with, and also an Motion Graphics opening to do, from ground zero.
Simple Device
A video I made for Nokia Brazil. One of the best ones I’ve ever made. Simple and good looking. Only one day of work with a good inspiration that came from nowhere inside my mind. Unfortunately it didn’t help me when I was applying for a Designer Job at Nokia Beijing. Hope someday they are able to evaluate this again. Using After Effects, Final Cut X, Logic Pro and Photoshop.
Silly Comic
My promo video for a Calvin and Hobbes box. Illustrations made with Adobe Illustrator, inspired by the original comics of Bill Watterson, then animated with After Effects. Some 3D work was made with C4D. The curious part is the soundtrack I made my-self, a kind of silly and strange bavarian song.
Social Network
A video made for a brazilian communication company about social networking. The inspiration didn’t came out, so I tried to use the actress interacting with motion graphic layers.
Typography
Back in 2011, a typographic art work I made for Merck Brazil. Hope I can do a less serious typographic work next time. But I really enjoy doing text animation. It’s simple and clean. You just need a good idea to give life to words. Using After Effects, Apple Motion and Premiere.
Le Scénario
Three days to create this video for the LG. The idea was to put the TV in different environments and raise the question: Is the TV in different scenarios, or TV takes the viewer for these different scenarios? Produced with After Effects, Apple Motion, Adobe Premiere exported, soundtrack and effects for Apple Logic Pro.
